DPS seeks public’s help in identifying suspect in security footage

At the scene, police met with the tire shop owner who said the incident took place on Nov. 28, 2020, around 11:20 p.m., according to the timestamp on the security footage. The owner did not notice the damage to the door until Monday morning when the shop was due to open.

When he noticed the damaged door, he immediately had it repaired while the footage from the security camera was being processed. On Dec. 4, 2020, the owner called DPS to file a report with the footage of the incident.

DPS is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual seen on the surveillance footage. The suspect appears to have a tattoo on his right forearm.
