The first checkpoint will be on Beach Road, Garapan to Beach Road, Chalan Kanoa from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Pale Arnold, from Chalan Laulau, to Chalan Pale Arnold Puerto Rico from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Nov. 27
The first checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Martinez, Koblerville to Chalan Monsignor Martinez, Dandan from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, San Jose to Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, San Vicente from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The purpose of these checkpoints is to promote public safety while increasing the awareness of the dangers of not utilizing a vehicle’s occupant protection system as well as child restraints systems while driving on the island’s roadways. Locations of these checkpoints were pre-determined based on the number of auto accidents, occupant protection, and child restraint system violations in these areas.
