DPW is in need of one mechanical plans examiner, a highway program coordinator and a highway engineer II for its technical service division.
Under the continuing budget resolution of $148 million, all vacancies that must be filled should be sanctioned by the Legislature.
Lt. Gov. Eloy Inos, in his capacity as acting governor, certified the vacancies on May 17.
“The filling of these vacant positions are of vital importance for the efficient delivery of essential public services.
Continuing appropriations are available for the full personnel cost associated with these vacancies,” he told the Legislature.
