Eucon promotes 26 students

Eight students finished 12th grade, 10 students finished 8th grade and eight students finished  6th grade. Three students received certificates. Awards were also given to students from 1st through 12th grades during the ceremony.

The governor’s office senior adviser Dr. John Joyner, who was the guest speaker, encouraged the students to continue their pursuit of excellence.

“Graduation is a special time of joy, and we would like to let you know how proud we are in the government for your accomplishments,” Joyner said.

Eucon traditionally gives annual awards — the President Award for  students who display high academic performance and exemplar attitude; the Principal Award for students who displayed a huge improvement; and the Dean’s Award for students who gained the highest academic stature.

The recipients for the President Award  were Caleb Joshua Yan, James Matthew Reyes, Gun Lee, William Wallon Young, Ha Young “Joseph” Seo, Ha Won Samuel Seo and Kun “Justin” You.

The Principal’s Award recipients were Chisa Kobayashi, Juancho Siasoyco, David Mafnas, Seong Jun “Luke” Park., Bo Ning “Bob,”  Zhuang Wei “Wade” Ji and Zi Quiang “Ballen” Song, Yu Duan, Yu Xian Zeng and Rui “Peter” Ma.

Recipients of the Dean’s Award were Jin Seok “James” Park, Ao Feng “Louis” Zhou, Hia Yi “Linda” Zhou, Theresa Zheng, Juliana Patricia Perez, Hoi Lun Yu, Li Mei Feng, Jan Azalia Cabanes., Hae Hee Lee, Hu Lan Zhu and Hui Xu.

Eucon also honors the students’ achievements every six weeks to continue to encourage and aid them toward their goals.

Of the eight senior graduates, Erica Bruyako is considering to pursue her education at Faith Baptist Bible College in the states while Edlyn Taimanao, who has been in Eucon since third grade, is planning to study on Guam.

The other senior graduates including Xu Hui, a mother of two, will continue their college education at Eucon.

Eucon is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools institution. It offers bachelor of science in secondary education, bachelor of arts in Bible, and  English as a Second Language programs.
