Eucon students excel at forensic competition

Four Eucon students emerged as first place winners in the K-2 division: Dane Hodges, Joy Yan, Allia Pillarina and Noreen Vidal.

In  Dramatic Interpretation, Allia Pillarina and Dane Hodges won first place, Joanah Jimenez was second  while Enoch Chen finished fourth.

In  Humorous Interpretation, Joy Yan won  second place while Clark Transmano was third in  Readers Forum.

In Choral Speaking, Christopher Mafnas, Joanah Jimenez and Yvonne Abustan emerged as the top winners while Arman Cabrerra, Clark Transmano, Luis Tolosa and Chan Yang Woo placed fifth.

In the 3rd-5th grade division, five Eucon students won the top prize: Chisa Kobayashi, Jin Seok Park, Elijah Villarmeno, Victoria Nicole Santos and Caleb Yan.

In Duo Interpretation, Joanie Paraiso and Ivy Leong won first place, while Meeso Bell and Erin Transmano placed fifth.

Joanie Paraiso and David Mafnas bagged first place in Readers Forum, while Jin Seok Park finished second in  Humorous Interpretation.

The coaches were Eucon International School speech department teachers Samihna Kakuse, Thess Miral Christa Wei, Nicole Blackwell and Bethany Bunyan. The head coach/director was Rev. Pete Miral.
