Manglona granted Wei Yuan Ou’s request through the U.S. Probation Office for travel from Oct. 14, 2011, and to return on Oct. 31, 2011.
The judge ordered Ou to call the U.S. Probation Office for changes in his authorized travel plans, or change in his accommodation/location in China.
He will call his probation officer within 24 hours of his return to Saipan.
He will follow his conditions of supervised release while away from Saipan.
The U.S. Probation Office told the federal court that Ou, to date, has been in compliance with the court imposed conditions as well as his standard conditions of supervision.
Ou paid his $500 fine and $50 special assessment fee.
Ou has an advance parole issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of Homeland Security that allowed him multiple entries into Saipan. It will expire on Nov. 27, 2011.
On July 22, 2011, Ou was sentenced by the district court to a two-year term of probation for two counts of mislabeling of food product.
The prosecution said Ou sold each fake Viagra pill for $5.
