Aguon said they also planted 15 coconut trees and 10 other varieties of trees at Laulau Beach.
“Our family members have committed themselves to hold cleanup drives regularly,” he said.
Those who participated in the cleanup included his children Brian Aguon, Anthony Aguon, Maureen Aguon, Karen Aguon, and Jengkie Aguon.
Also participating were his grandchildren Daniel Aguon, Brian Jr. Aguon, Sebastian Aguon, Logan Aguon and Haylie Aguon.

Their friends who joined the cleanup were Anthony Ayuyu, Emiko Camacho, Edu Mari Banaag, Gerry Agulto, and Ray Abordonado.
Max Aguon expressed his appreciation to Juan Kiyu for donating coconut trees, and to CNMI Forestry Division Director Jack Ogomuro and staff members Frank Ada and Pedro Tudela for providing other trees to plant.
For their cleanup drive from Laulau Beach to Pakpak Beach and then to Micro Beach, Max Aguon said they collected 700 pounds of trash.
At Tottotville, he added, they filled two trailers with trash.
At the pavilion across from JP Center in Garapan, he said they found two containers filled with used oil. In the Civic Center beach area in Susupe, he said broken tiles were dumped into a trash bin.
