Family of three sentenced for disturbing the peace

Margarita Litulumar, 43, her son Faustino Litulumar, 22, and his girlfriend Gina Bahgchandani, 37, were arrested when their drinking spree in Koblerville turned violent.

Faustino pleaded guilty to the offense of disturbing the peace as a crime of domestic violence, and was sentenced to six months imprisonment, all suspended.

The court credited 18 days he had already served in the Department of Corrections facility. Faustino was placed on six months probation, and will pay court fine, assessment fee, and  probation fee.

Last year, Faustino was sentenced to 10 days imprisonment for repeatedly slapping, banging the head and choking a household member in March 2009.

The status of Faustino’s probation when he was arrested for this case was not immediately known.

Margarita Litulumar and Bahgchandani were both sentenced to 30 days imprisonment, all suspended, with credit for time served. The actual jail time was not mentioned in the plea agreement.

Margarita and Bahgchandani both pleaded to the charge of disturbing the peace.

They were placed on six months probation and will pay a $100 fine, court assessment fees, and probation fees.

The other charges of assault and interfering with a domestic violence report filed against Bahgchandani were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Police arrested the three defendants on April 16, 2011.

The mother reported to the police that her son beat up Bahgchandani who had bruises on her mouth.
