Manglona authorized Semikian to travel to San Jose, Costa Rica for a business trip.
Semikian’s request was made through the U.S. Probation Office.
Semikian works for a business specializing in sporting events.
During his last court authorized travel to Costa Rica, the federal probation office said Semikian secured a contract with a soccer league vendor.
As a result of his contract, his finances will be reevaluated and restitution payments will be increased, the U.S. Probation Office told the federal court.
Since he was released from prison on March 5, 2010, he began his term of supervised release in California’s central district and has been in compliance with all supervision terms and conditions, the federal court was told.
Semikian has paid the $100 special assessment fee and $59,048.88 toward restitution in the total amount of $375,000.
