Federal court modifies probation terms of arson convict

Visiting Federal Judge Marilyn L. Huff granted the request by the U.S. Probation Office to modify the conditions of Marvin Leon Guerrero’s supervised release that will end on June 19, 2011.

Court documents showed that Leon Guerrero started serving his supervised release on Guam, where he was hired and working six days a week.

Leon Guerrero regularly makes restitution payments of $100 per month, with the balance of $286,129.29 that includes interest.

Leon Guerrero informed his probation officer that he will be relocating to the states.

Leon Guerrero is compliant with his release conditions, the probation office told the court.

On July 1, 2004, then-Chief Judge Alex R. Munson sentenced Leon Guerrero to 60 months imprisonment, and three years supervised release.

The defendant and two other men were responsible for setting on fire iConnect’s facility on Mt. Tapochau in 2004. They all received jail sentences.

Leon Guerrero, according to the prosecution, was the mastermind of the arson attack.

Leon Guerrero owned i-Connect’s rival firm, Communications Specialists Inc.
