The federal court will resume operations on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the new courthouse located at 1671 Gualo Rai Road in Gualo Rai, Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona said on Thursday.
A dedication ceremony for the new courthouse will be held in January 2021.
The dedication ceremony was originally set for July 14, but it was cancelled due to the general difficulties working under the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
Construction started in Dec. 2017 and was originally expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
The federal court has convened in the Horiguchi Building since 1989. The current lease expired in July 2019.
