Fiji grants visa-free privileges to Taiwanese tourists

The foreign ministry of Taiwan made the announcement on Saturday.

The ministry said Taiwanese citizens with hotel reservations and onward flight tickets will be eligible to enter Fiji visa-free and stay there for up to four months.

The foreign ministry said the new measure is expected to encourage more Taiwanese tourists to go to Fiji and enhance business exchanges between the two nations.

Government statistics show that around 2,000 Taiwanese tourists visit Fiji every year.
