Free training on native assets building initiative

Attend a Native Assets Building Initiative training event at the Inetnon Amot yan Kutturan Natibu/Mwiischil Safey me Kkoor Aramasal Faluw, 1213 Capitol Hill Rd.

The Administration for Native Americans and the Office of Community Services Assets for Financial Independence program have partnered to promote asset building in native communities. This pre-application training will include information on applying for funding through a new OCS and ANA initiative that will support comprehensive asset building projects in Native communities. The trainings are free to Tribes and Native American, Native Alaskan and Native Hawaiian and U.S. Pacific Islander nonprofit organizations.

Training highlights:

• Become acquainted with the concepts of comprehensive asset building.

• Learn how to make the AFI program work in their community

• Increase their knowledge of how to involve the community in project design

• Be given the information necessary to successfully apply for funding
