The project is spearheaded by the FSM Embassy in Tokyo as a brand that will help promote the islands in Japan and other parts of Asia.
The concept draws on the unique cultures and lifestyles of the FSM and pulls them under one colorful logo that symbolizes the characteristics of the nation.
During a briefing with the cabinet, Nanase emphasized the concept as well as progress and project development.
He said the project development has been ongoing for the past six months.
At a recent tourism promotion conference in Japan, an FSM booth was set up to highlight the “Rainbownesia” project.
Nanase will also be traveling to the other states after his visit to Yap.
