This list shows students from each state receiving their doctorate, masters, or bachelor or associate degree in various fields.
The purpose of releasing this information is so that private business and government or non-government agencies can see what the possible applicant pool will be for employment of these graduates and begin recruiting them to come back to the FSM with their expertise and assist in the development of the nation.
This tracking system is based on scholarship data and through the Postsecondary Office directly contacting schools outside of the FSM to provide information regarding FSM students attending their institutions.
The tracking system currently has students from China, Guam, Hawaii, Palau, Marshall Islands, and South Pacific Schools.
The office is still trying to get information from mainland U.S. schools outside of what they know based on scholarships that have been awarded.
For Pohnpei, there should be one student graduating with a doctorate degree in Business/Accounting, 17 students graduating with a masters degree (14 in Education, 1 in Law, 1 in Marine Science, and 1 in a Health Related field) and 23 students graduating with an undergraduate degree (5 in Education, 3 in Law, 1 in Agriculture, 5 in Management, 2 in a Health Related field, 4 in Business/Accounting, 1 in Electrical, 1 in Information Technology, and 1 in Land Use and Real Estate.).
For Kosrae, there should be three students graduating with a masters degree (all 3 in Education) and 10 students graduating with an undergraduate degree (1 in Education, 2 in Law, 1 in Agriculture, 1 in Electronics, 3 in Management, 1 in a Health Related field, and 1 in Mechanics.)
For Chuuk, one student will be graduating with a doctorate degree (Education), 5 with a masters degree (all 5 in Education), and 11 students graduating with an undergraduate degree (1 in Education, 5 in Management, 3 in Mechanics, 1 in Business/Accounting, and 1 in Construction).
For Yap, two students will be graduating with a masters degree (1 in Education and 1 in Law) and 19 students should be graduating with an undergraduate degree (2 in Agriculture, 2 in Electronics, 4 in Management, 1 in a Health Related field, 3 in Mechanics, 3 in Electrical, 1 Construction, 2 in Tourism, and 1 in Information Technology.)
