Kensof has a background in public service from working for the Yap state budget office in 1980 to 1984 and as the transportation officer for the state transportation office from 1984 to 1987.
He was also a Yap state senator from 1989 to 2007.
He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Michigan and has a bachelor degree in public administration with specialty in labor relations.
Mori believes that Kensof is well-suited for the position in Fiji and is looking for a favorable consideration of this nomination.
