THE Office of the Governor is re-launching the Garapan Street Market at the Garapan Fishing Base on Beach Road on May 1, 2025, Office of the Grants Management & State Clearinghouse Administrator Epi Cabrera said.

In collaboration with the Commonwealth Council for Arts & Culture and the Department of Community & Cultural Affairs, Cabrera said OGM-SC and Gov. Arnold I. Palacios are excited to see the street market open again and held every Thursday.

Cabrera said OGM-SC will assist in financing the logistics and entertainment costs using its special account fund. OGM-SC is also working on securing a grant, he added.

“As we prepare to revive this vibrant community gathering, we invite food vendors, artists, and entertainers to participate and showcase their talents. This is a unique opportunity to share your creativity while contributing to the revitalization of a cherished community tradition,” Cabrera said.

Vendors will be provided 20×20-foot canopies for $45 per night, including electrical utilities.

To apply for a spot at the street market, food vendors and artists must submit their applications online using the QR code provided on this page.

Application forms are also available at the OGM-SC office on Beach Road in Chalan Kanoa (the former Bank of Saipan).

Since space is limited, OGM-SC encourages interested people to apply early. For more information or assistance, call (670) 664-9994 or email media.cnmigrants@gmail.com/.

“The Garapan Street Market Committee encourages the entire community to join us in supporting the Garapan Street Market, enhancing nightlife for both visitors and residents alike,” Cabrera said.

“Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a revitalized tradition celebrating culture, arts, and our community,” he added.
