According to Joselito Espino, who works for the Commonwealth Ports Authority, his wish came true. “Last week, when gas price went down 10 cents for the first time this year, I told myself, ‘I wish it will go down again.’ ”
“You know, things like this, the fuel price rollback even by 10 cents, really matter especially for low-income people like us,” said Espino, who spends $105 on gas every payday solely for his daily commute to work.
Reuters on Wednesday reported that oil prices settled down for the fourth consecutive session after U.S. crude oil stockpiles posted a larger-than-expected build, adding a further headwind as investors worried about OPEC+ plans to increase output in April and U.S. tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico.
