(Office of the Governor) — Governor David M. Apatang, on Friday, Dec. 5, recognized SuperTECH owner Mar Masilungan for donating several newly installed signs at various tourist and historical sites in Marpi.
The signs are now located at Banzai Cliff, the Public Cemetery, Suicide Cliff, the Grotto, and Bird Island.
During a brief unveiling on Friday, Masilungan joined Governor Apatang and Parks and Recreation Director Mike Cruz for a photo commemorating the official installation. The new signage enhances the visitor experience by improving accessibility, beautifying the area, and making it easier for tourists to navigate Marpi’s cultural and historical landmarks.
Governor Apatang expressed gratitude to SuperTECH for its continued support of community initiatives.
“These new signs elevate the experience for our residents and visitors, and we are grateful for Mar’s generosity and partnership,” he said.
The Apatang administration remains committed to strengthening tourism infrastructure and preserving the natural and historical beauty that makes Marpi one of the Commonwealth’s most iconic destinations.
