GOVERNOR Arnold I. Palacios on Monday approved House Local Bill 24-2, appropriating $84,000 in poker fee collections for Tinian.
Authored by Rep. Patrick San Nicolas, H.L.B. 24-2 is now Tinian Local Law 24-2.
The law allocates the gambling funds as follows:
–$60,000 for the Tinian mayor’s office and the municipal treasurer’s office for personnel, operations, professional services and public programs.
–$16,500 for the Tinian mayor’s discretionary fund.
–$7,500 for Tinian High School valedictorian and salutatorian scholarships.
