Gualo Rai home burglarized

Department of Public Safety acting spokesman PO3 Jason Tarkong said the victims’ left their home at about 8 p.m.

and returned at 11 p.m. on June 30, 2010.

Upon arrival, Tarkong said the victim discovered their home was broken into and items were stolen.

The window-type air-conditioning unit in one of the rooms was pushed in from the outside.

“The suspect(s) used this as their point of entry to commit the crime. A crow bar was discovered at the crime scene,” Tarkong said.

Stolen were several gold and silver bracelets, necklaces and rings valued at over $1,000, Tarkong said.

Also stolen were a CD player worth $200, a pink piggy bank, and $75 cash.
