Chinese Outbound Tourism, China’s premier government-sponsored travel trade conference.
GVB general manager Gerald S.A. Perez was invited as a keynote speaker to 6TH IFCOT, which focused on “Quality Service and Sustainable Growth After the Crisis.”
GVB also sponsored Guam Night for conference attendees as the event finale.
“The China outbound travel market is the fastest-growing visitor market in the world,” Perez said. “We’ve worked for several years to increase our presence in that country through meetings with travel trade operators at exhibitions like IFCOT, by working with airlines for more charter flights, and by meeting with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to secure a Guam-CNMI visa-waiver for China. This exhibition helped further strengthen our trade and government relationships with key stakeholders in China’s outbound travel industry.”
