HANMI vice chairman and Fiesta Resort & Spa general manager B.K. Park said the senior citizens are important members of the community who deserve to be given appreciation especially during the Christmas season.
In his brief message, Park thanked the more than 50 senior citizens for accepting HANMI’s invitation.
HANMI is very generous to the manamko’, said Teresita Sorroza, president of the Senior Citizens Advisory Council.
“We are praying for more visitors to fill up the hotels especially in this economic crisis,” Sorroza said.
Each year, during the Christmas season, HANMI provides lunch to senior citizens.
Aging Office Director Rose DLG. Mondala said they appreciate HANMI’s generosity.
“Every year they never fail us,” Mondala said.
She is hoping for a better economy so hotels will flourish.
She said she is planning to have more senior citizens undergo training in hotels to gain more knowledge about the industry.
