One of the employees who reported for work at about 4:30 a.m. discovered that a padlock to the building’s side entrance was missing.
The employee later discovered the padlock already broken on the floor.
Police said the possible point of entry was through a restroom window.
According to Tarkong, “The safe is described as a U.S. Navy style metal safe. It opens with a key. The dimensions of the safe are about two and a half feet tall by one and a half feet wide. It’s heavy and may weigh between 200 to 300 pounds.”
The investigation is ongoing.
