“Awarding is a way to show the children that hard work pays off,” said principal Jonas Barcinas.
The children get the chance to experience recognition for their efforts in keeping up good grades, he added.
The children receiving the awards beamed as they jumped up to get their awards.
They included 7th grade Math Court winners Patrick Agustin and Masrur Alam.
Their teacher Adida Gagaring told Variety that they will be competing in the regional competition which will be held at Saipan Southern High School this Saturday, Dec. 4.
