All members of the House voted to adopt the joint resolution.
House Vice Speaker Lorenzo I. Deleon Guerrero applauded Rep. Maratita for introducing the resolution, which mentions women who are serving in the armed forces.
“I want to recognize [Rep. Maratita] for her endeavor, on page two, line seven of her resolution where she mentions ‘women of the CNMI who have served and continue to serve in the United States armed forces,’ and who have fought for our freedom and our democracy. Thank you for allowing the committee as a whole for the sponsorship of this resolution.”
