House session rescheduled for Wednesday

Speaker Arnold I. Palacios, R-Saipan, said they wanted to convene last week, “but there was a conflict of schedules — a lot of other events were going on, like the pre-economic summit and the [Commonwealth Public Utilities Commission’s] rate hearing.”

In an interview on Friday, Palacios said they intend to discuss and pass some of the pending bills on their calendar, including the measure to amend the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. power division privatization law.
