How to make ‘katupak’

The Chamorro/Carolinian Cultural Center (with the hut) at 1213 Capitol Hill Rd. is offering free classes this month on traditional food preparations. For this Saturday, May 7,  learn how to make katupak and have it for lunch (with fish).

Classes start on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and end around noon time.

Chamorros and Carolinians, 14 to 99 years old, are invited to come and attend free classes on Chamorro and Carolinian traditional knowledge and practices.

Classes are offered by the Inetnon Åmot yan Kutturan Natibu/Mwiischil Safey me Kkoor Aramasal Faluw, in partnership with the Indigenous Affairs Office, and funded in part by the U.S. Administration for Native Americans.
