Creole and Cajun cuisines border on the mildly spicy level, combined with rich flavors of French and Spanish cuisines with simple and fresh taste of rustic cooking.
“We are inviting everybody to come and dig into the mouthwatering and delightful dishes inspired by Creole and Cajun creations,” Colombo added.
Immediately after the launching at the lobby, guests flocked to the Kili Café & Terrace for the real Creole and Cajun food.
Hyatt Regency Saipan F&B director Ranjeet Rajebhosale said that from time to time, they have included a dish or two of Creole and Cajun in their regular buffets but this week is the first time that they are serving a full buffet of Creole and Cajun cuisines from the salads to the dessert to the live cooking station.
Start off your dinner at the Cajun Ceasar salad bar and appetizers. Move on to the Bayou seafood on ice with its mouthwatering mussels, oyster Rockefeller, Saipan sweet prawns and Ahi tuna reef fish sashimi with condiments and sauces. Choose from the hot entrees which include shrimp etouffee, garlic roasted mashed potato, crispy Cajun cat fish in red sauce, sautéed zucchini and cherry tomato, Jambalaya with chicken and andoville sausage, and slow cooked pulled pork with maple and Tabasco sauce.
Highlighting the Creole and Cajun cuisine is the live cooking station which boasts of sumptuous beef prime rib eye with your choice of sauce, and other exquisite dishes. Dip into the sweet delights from the dessert station loaded with Creole and Cajun favorites. Relax and enjoy after dinner with cold bottles of Hoegaarden Belgian Beer.
“We urge you all to try everything and experience a totally new dinner experience,” Colombo said.
The Creole and Cajun cuisines were launched at the hotel lobby with Hoegaarden Belgian Beer distributed by Marpac for Hyatt Regency club members.
The $35 dinner buffet per person includes Hoegaarden beer. The buffet which started on Monday evening will be until March 28.
