George Delos Santos
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested George Delos Santos, originally from the Philippines, on Aug. 27, 2025. Delos Santos was convicted of first-degree child sexual abuse in the CNMI and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
ICE announced on social media: “Meet George Delos Santos: Filipino child sex predator. His criminal history includes a 30-year prison sentence for first-degree child sexual abuse in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. ICE San Francisco arrested him Aug. 27, and he’ll remain in our custody pending removal proceedings.”
Delos Santos is being detained at the CNMI Department of Corrections.
In a 2020 decision, the CNMI Supreme Court affirmed his conviction and sentence on July 10, 2020. According to court documents, “Delos Santos, aged 55, … pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree.” The Supreme Court also stated that Delos Santos “is undocumented and may be subject to removal upon release.”
Delos Santos was sentenced to 30 years in prison, with five years suspended. He is eligible for parole after serving eight years and was also given ten years of supervised probation.
Variety learned that ICE on Saipan has arrested other offenders, who are currently being detained at the CNMI Department of Corrections.
