The Motorola Xoom, which runs on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), is the winner of the 2011 CES Best Tablet/Best In Show Award and is considered as one of the most advanced Android devices available in the market today.
Virgilio S. Adriano Jr., Mark Nanpei and Gabriel Burlaza each received the Motorola Xoom Wifi tablet from iConnect executives Jake Woo, general manager; Matt Giger, chief business development officer; and Gigi Tan-Yu, marketing director in a presentation held April 15 at the iConnect main office in Upper Tumon.
iConnect held a two-week fund drive in March when subscribers were asked to text in their $5 donation for the Japan earthquake and tsunami victims.
Combining company contribution with public donations, iConnect turned over $10,000 to the Japan Red Cross.
“iConnect is very grateful to our generous and kind hearted subscribers who donated to this worthy cause. We are also thankful to Motorola Mobility for partnering with us to acknowledge and honor our top donors in helping our Japanese neighbors,” said Matt Giger, iConnect’s chief business development officer.
