THE illegal dumping at the Chalan Kanoa cemetery continues even in an area where a sign clearly states, “No Dumping.”

Community volunteer Max Aguon is again requesting the public to properly dispose of their trash and comply with the anti-littering law.

“Someone pointed this out to me Saturday. This is what I saw,” he said, referring to the illegally dumped trash at the cemetery.

Aguon, a Division of Parks and Recreation employee, also cleans and maintains public restrooms in Laly 4, the Grotto, Paupau, the Capital Hill baseball field, Garapan Central Park and Smiling Cove Marina.

He is asking the public to use public restrooms properly and not to vandalize them.

“The Laly 4 restrooms are currently closed. Someone has again broken the valve for its shower pipes. It will be reopened when repairs are made,” Aguon said.

For supporting his volunteer work, Aguon said he is grateful to DPA Car Mart, CMG Mobil Gas Station in San Jose, Rep. John Paul Sablan, Rep. Manny Castro, and U.S. Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan.
