Event coordinator Sharmaine Casquero said students from public and private high schools in the CNMI are invited to join the event dubbed as “Image in Motion.”
“Male and female high school students can come up with their own designs and model their own gowns fashioned from recycled materials during the show,” Casquero said.
“This is your time to show not only your talents and creativity in designing but in modeling your creations, too,” she added.
Casquero said “Image in Motion” will also showcase models in safari costumes, sportswear, and islandwear collection from local designers.
On April 14, Casquero said gowns and costumes designed from recycled materials will again be showcased at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center.
“Image in Motion” will be held in cooperation with the Saipan Dance Music Studio. Tickets are $5 each. To join the fashion show on April 9 or to buy tickets, call Casquero at 233-2643 or Nenie Cayao at 888-2579.
