They are former Rep. William S. Torres to the NMC board and Carmen H. Atalig to the licensing board.
In a letter, Inos told Senate President Paul A. Manglona that Torres is qualified and will be “an asset on such an important board.”
Likewise, Atalig will be an asset on the licensing board, Inos added.
The Senate, however, won’t be able to act on these nominations because both the Senate president and Sen. Frank Q. Cruz, who chairs the committee on executive appointments, are in Washington, D.C.
Variety learned that there will be no Senate sessions until next week.
