IT&E hosts manamko’ makeover program

“I want them to look good and happy,” he said, adding that many of the manamko were very grateful for the “makeover.”

IT&E brought island beauticians — stylists, barbers and manicurists — to offer manicure, pedicure, haircuts and blow-dry services to the senior citizens.

The makeover started at 9 a.m. and ended at 2 p.m., Manglona said.

“The manamko’ were so happy because they look younger after the makeover,” he added as he expressed his appreciation to the IT&E management for its generosity.

Each year, IT&E hosts the makeover event for the manamko’ as part of the company’s commitment to the local community and senior citizens.
