JAL will start flight service to Manila, China

JAPAN Airlines says it will provide flight service to Manila and China via connecting flights to Narita, Japan starting April 18.

JAL sales manager for Saipan, Yasuyoshi Kinoshita, said the airline will serve passengers bound to Manila, Shanghai, Dalian and Beijing.

Shanghai-bound passengers that will leave Saipan in the afternoon may no longer need a transit visa from the Consular Office of Japan because they will change planes immediately.

However, passengers bound to Manila, Beijing and Dalian must secure a Japanese visa.

Kinoshita said interested passengers may contact JAL at 234-6553/6554.
