The read-aloud programs will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The program will be at the Tanapag Head Start on Oct. 18, CK Head Start on Oct. 19, and San Antonio Head Start on Oct. 20.
On Oct. 25, the read-aloud program will be brought to Garapan Head Start, back to Oleai Head Start on Oct. 26, and Kagman Head Start on Oct. 27.
The read-aloud program is a regular feature at the Joeten-Kiyu’s Children of our Homeland Library every Saturday. Children get to listen to their favorite stories being read by volunteers.
Joeten-Kiyu Public Library executive director John Oliver Gonzales said with the restored 80 hours of operation, they are now able to reach more patrons that need the library’s services and facilities, even those in the far villages.
Gonzales said the library’s patrons for the bookmobile outreach services will also be enjoying more hours.
The bookmobile services bring library’s resources to those who don’t have the time or transportation to visit the library in Susupe.
“I believe that everyone in the community should have access to the library’s facilities and resources. If you cannot come to us, then we will come to you,” Gonzales said.
