Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja said the selection will start at 1 p.m. today.
Assistant Attorney General Brian Gallagher is prosecuting the case while Calvo’s counsel is G. Anthony Long.
Calvo, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, is currently out on bail.
Charges of sexual assault in the second degree, sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, sexual abuse of a minor in the third degree, and disturbing the peace were filed against Calvo on June 11, 2008.
He surrendered to authorities days after the court ordered his arrest.
In 2000, Calvo was charged with sexually abusing two sisters.
He was acquitted in the case involving the younger sister.
The charges against him involving the elder sister were later dismissed.
