He donated a full set of Victorinox kitchen knives and four color-coded cutting boards.
Stewart said this was his first visit to the Kagman High School culinary classroom and he felt honored to be in the presence of such bright students.
Stewart is well-known on Guam for his products and is an author of the book “Let’s Eat!” which showcases popular dishes from famous restaurants in the territory.
Culinary class instructor Frank Sablan said he was contacted by a friend and was told about Stewart.
Sablan invited Stewart to the school and was then offered a generous donation of quality kitchen knives made in Switzerland.
Sablan is very grateful for the donation.
Stewart told Variety that he was happy to hear about the culinary class.
“I’m excited to see where the students will take their culinary knowledge. This class will give them confidence to work in kitchens of restaurants everywhere. If their dream is to pursue a life of cooking, this is the right path for them,” said Stewart.
“The students and the classroom have great potentials to become the best in the region,” he added.
