This is a first ever visit by a high ranking Program Manager from the United States Cadet Command. Every school gave some kind of staff briefing or commander presentation for each school. All schools did an outstanding job in presenting their briefings and were given a cadet command coin of excellence. One school was recognized as being the best briefers that he has ever seen. Col. Bagley has seen many briefings and oversees over 1,600 JROTC Programs in high schools. Col. Bagley stated that, “KHS JROTC went above and beyond his expectations and was the best staff briefing he has ever seen.”
The five Briefers were Battalion Commander C/LTC Manglona Keisha, S-1 Admin Officer C/2LT Lizama Nicole, S-2 Security and Intelligence Officer C/1LT Jebehn Dorothy, S-3 Operation Training Officer C/1LT Harris Markeda, S-5 Logistic and Supply Officer C/CPT Narvaez Anjannete, and the S-5 Public Affairs Officer C/2LT Indalecio Mona. The briefing consisted of their background information, duties and responsibilities, and how JROTC helped them in their life and to be a better citizen. The presentation was a 45 minute slide presentation that required pie charts, bar graphs, and statistic charts that provided status of the school enrollment and service enlistments. The Army Instructors responsible for training the cadets at Kagman High are MSG James Burke and SFC Anthony Lukeala. Col. Bagley also replied that during his four day stay in the CNMI people were extremely friendly and the hospitality was excellent and he would like to return very soon. After his visit he then went to Guam to check the three JROTC High school Programs and returned to Headquarters Cadet Command Fort Knox Kentucky where he will brief his commander Major General McDonald a two star General on his visit to the South Pacific Islands.
