Currently Kiribati has only one international air service, with Fiji’s Air Pacific providing a service from Nadi to Tarawa.
Nauru based Our Airline cancelled its Brisbane to Tarawa flights in June last year.
In a statement Kiribati is asking for expressions of interests in providing services from its regional neighbors to Tarawa and to Christmas Island as well as services linking domestic destinations.
