Korea is one of the primary tourism markets of the Northern Marianas, and the show segment “Hot Brothers” is expected to reach 15-million viewers through its airing on two consecutive Sundays, Oct. 10 and 17.
“This is excellent exposure for the Northern Marianas, and a good investment of our resources,” said Marianas Visitors Authority Marketing Managing Director Perry Tenorio.
MVA assisted the film crew with permits and logistics during the filming.
“Sunday, Sunday Night” airs on Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, one of the top three TV networks in Korea.
While in the Northern Marianas, the show filmed its “Entertainment Training Camp” segments on Managaha, secluded Jeffrey’s Beach, the main tourist district of Garapan, Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport, and San Antonio Beach. They also filmed various water sports and hotel guest rooms and lobbies.
