Rep. Ramon Tebuteb, R-Saipan and chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources, and Sen. Jude U. Hofschneider, R-Tinian and chairman of the Senate Committee on Resources, Economic Development and Programs, will conduct the public hearing.
The proposed Flame Sako Resort Hotel and Spa will be located immediately north of Palms Resort in As Matuis.
The public hearings for the proposed project are scheduled for Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, and on Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the multi-purpose center in Susupe.
A copy of the proposed lease can be obtained at Tebuteb and Hofschneider’s offices.
