The scholarship slots are open for first to 12th grades except for the 7th grade which is already full.
To avail of the scholarship, Pangelinan said the student must demonstrate good behavior, must have a good attendance record, and maintain a B+ grade point average.
A qualified student will get free tuition for a year, Pangelinan said.
The program is offered on a first come, first served basis, he added.
Pangelinan said ILC Corp., the school’s parent company, provides these scholarships as part of its “commitment to the community.”
“We are committed to ensuring that our programs not only meet certain standards, but exceed a level that allows us to build leaders,” said Yong Nam Park, ILC Corp. president. “Our offer to provide LISS with the funding to open up more scholarships to deserving children is a gift we can offer from time to time.”
Five slots are available for 1st grade; seven for 2nd grade; seven for 3rd grade; six for 4th grade, seven for 5th; six for 6th grade, seven for 8th grade, ten for 9th grade; and ten for 10th to 12th grades. For more information, call 288-2006 or fax 288-2007.
