(SCC) — The Career Pathways Internship Program or CPIP celebrated the accomplishments of both Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 interns alongside valued industry partners on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025. The second end of commitment ceremony, held at Taga Hall, Saipan World Resort, brought together interns, mentors, and community leaders to honor the dedication, growth, and achievements of the students who have successfully completed their internships.
Since the program’s official launch on April 21, 2025, a total of 29 students have completed their chosen commitments, representing juniors and seniors from all CNMI Public School System high schools, including Tinian and Rota. This latest ceremony recognized an additional 41 interns for their successful completion of their respective commitments.
Cohort 1 marked the completion of a six-month commitment with four dedicated interns, while Cohort 2 proudly concluded a three-month commitment with thirty-seven interns. Each intern demonstrated growth, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence throughout their placement.
The event not only celebrated individual achievements but also underscored the strong partnerships that make CPIP possible. The program extends its sincere gratitude to PSS for its continued support and to the industry partners who open their businesses, agencies, and organizations to provide meaningful work experiences for students.
“We truly want to thank all our industry partners for always being willing to accommodate and mentor our student interns, especially as this internship ran through the school year,” said Rain Ni, program coordinator of CPIP. “Without your support and trust in our program and its mission, the success we celebrate today would not have been possible.”
The Career Pathways Internship Program continues to support ongoing cohorts, with Cohort 1 interns completing an 11-month commitment and Cohort 2 interns engaged in six- and nine-month placements. The program’s final group of interns, along with the current cycle, will conclude on March 21, 2026.
As the program continues to grow, CPIP remains dedicated to empowering students, strengthening community partnerships, and building pathways that connect education to meaningful careers.
