(CNMI Homeland Security and Emergency Management) — Based on the information received from the United State Geological Survey and compiled at the CNMI Emergency Operation Center, State Warning Point:
At 1:55 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2026, a report of a 6.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 22.950°N 144.302°E about 539.4 miles north of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.
There is no tsunami information issued for the Northern Marianas from this earthquake.
