MISS Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas Anne Rivera-Brownstein, along with members of her court, visited daycare children on Thursday last week to promote childhood literacy, leadership, and community service.
Rivera-Brownstein was joined by Miss Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas 1st Runner Up Bernice Sabino, 2nd Runner Up Tiffany Libreja, 3rd Runner Up Haillerine Fernandez, and Miss Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas Top Model Sydney King-Hinds during a reading session at Loving Hands Daycare Center in San Antonio.
The beauty queens read stories to the children and encouraged them to develop a love for reading and learning at a young age.
Miss Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas Vice President Joann Aquino said the outreach reflects the organization’s commitment to giving back to the community and serving as positive role models for the next generation. Through engaging storytelling and interaction, she said, Rivera-Brownstein and her court emphasized the importance of education, kindness, and confidence.
“Opportunities like this allow us to connect with our community in meaningful ways,” Rivera-Brownstein said. “We hope to inspire children to dream big and believe in themselves.”
Aquino said the visit is part of ongoing community initiatives led by Miss Asia-Pacific Northern Marianas, focusing on cultural pride, leadership development, and service throughout the Commonwealth.
