Free workshops to support and strengthen nonprofit organizations

(MANGO) — The Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations is pleased to announce a series of free workshops open to the public in February, designed to support nonprofit organizations through practical guidance, best practices, and foundational knowledge. These sessions aim to strengthen nonprofit leadership, governance, and organizational impact across the community.

The February workshop series includes both virtual and in-person sessions covering key nonprofit topics:

• SDGs for Nonprofits (Feb. 11, 9–11 a.m., Virtual): An introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals and how nonprofits can align their programs with global and local development priorities to strengthen strategy and impact reporting.

• What Is a Nonprofit? (Feb. 13, 9–11 a.m., Virtual): A foundational session exploring nonprofit purpose, structure, and operations.

• Data Management for Nonprofits (Feb. 20, 9–11 a.m., In Person): A practical workshop focused on understanding nonprofit data, strengthening storytelling, and improving accountability and funding readiness.

• Board Training (Feb. 28, 9 a.m.–12 p.m., In Person): A comprehensive training covering board roles and responsibilities, governance, fiduciary duties, and best practices for effective board operations.

All workshops are free and open to nonprofit leaders, staff, board members, and community members interested in nonprofit work. Advance registration is required, and participants may register for one or multiple sessions. Registration for each workshop closes the day before that specific session.
