(NMC) — In light of the aftermath of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, Northern Marianas College’s Nursing Department has extended the deadline for submitting fall 2026 admission applications to Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and has rescheduled the upcoming Nursing Program Admission Test.
Pre-nursing students who have completed the prerequisites by the end of the spring 2026 semester may submit their applications by May 20, 2026. If the department chair approves your application, you are eligible to take the Nursing Program Admission Test on June 24 or 25, 2026.
Additionally, any pre-nursing student who has chosen the I-Route for their remaining spring 2026 prerequisite can still submit an application for admission up to May 20, 2026. Students who have chosen the I-Route must complete their remaining spring 2026 prerequisite by Friday, Aug. 7, 2026. If the department chair approves your application, you will be eligible to take the Nursing Program Admission Test on August 12 or 13, 2026. As a reminder, all prerequisites (except SO297) must have been completed with a grade of “C” or higher for this fall 2026 admission period.
Pre-nursing students who are enrolled for the summer 2026 session to complete their last remaining prerequisites can apply for admission for the fall 2027 admission period the following year.
Applicants must submit their applications via email to [email protected] by the new deadline. A study guide will be provided upon receipt of their application. Once the application period closes, applicants will be notified by the department chair via their NMC student email of their eligibility/ineligibility status.
