Triple J launches temporary housing relief effort for families displaced by Super Typhoon Sinlaku

(Special Advertising Feature) — As the CNMI community continues recovery efforts following Super Typhoon Sinlaku, Triple J Real Estate Division is stepping forward to help provide temporary housing opportunities for displaced families.

With approval from the Northern Marianas Housing Corporation, stringent federal income eligibility requirements have been waived through April 30, 2027, enabling more families and households gain access to safe, reliable housing during this critical recovery period.

Triple J properties participating in the emergency housing program include Sandy Beach Homes in Chalan Kanoa, Ocean Ridge Homes on Beach Road, and Saipan Comfort Homes in Fina Sisu.  Housing applicants previously ineligible due to income levels exceeding federal thresholds are encouraged to apply.

The company’s available units offer larger semi-furnished living spaces designed to provide stability and comfort for families navigating displacement after the storm. Amenities include washer and dryer units in every home, generator backup power, solar hot water systems, backup water supply, on-site maintenance support, and security services.

Applicants must certify that their household was displaced due to Super Typhoon Sinlaku and provide valid identification and Social Security documentation for household members.

Rachel Roque, property manager for Triple J Real Estate Division, said the company recognizes the importance of supporting the community beyond business operations during times of hardship.

“Saipan has always been a community that comes together during difficult times, and Triple J is committed to doing our part to help families who are still recovering from the impacts of Super Typhoon Sinlaku,” said Roque. “Housing security brings peace of mind, especially for families trying to rebuild and regain normalcy. We are grateful for NMHC’s partnership and approval, allowing our properties and our team can be part of that recovery process.”

Roque added that Triple J staff are available to personally assist applicants through the process and answer questions at the Triple J Saipan Corporate Office in Chalan Kanoa.

Applications for the emergency temporary housing program are currently available for pickup at the Triple J Saipan Corporate Office.
